Stunning property with old cabins built in the 1925. This place has withstood many fires, most recently in 2020. We stayed on the last night of the season as they close for winter months. Despite its last night of operations for the season, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin we had was simple, tiny reflecting the 1920s time period and yet they had updated the bathroom. Our bed was comfy. The Lodge itself has a wonderful restaurant onsite, plus plenty of sitting areas and some seats overlook the lake. The Pool and jacuzzi are nicely located which over look the Grand Lake Town. It is well worth a stay here if your a nature lover, hiker, star gazer . They are only open approximately 5 months out of the year (end of May - October 3) due to old pipes the water on the property must be shut off during the winter season to avoid pipes bursting.
It’s clear the owners care very much for this property. So delighted they open to the public and want others to enjoy it too. Lovely one day stay
