We chose the cheapest room as we were only staying for one night, which was clean and presentable. Shower room was also clean. Only issue to be aware of is the steps into the room. There is a sign to warn you on the door but the last step was deeper than the others and we both stumbled. Breakfast provided was adequate to start your day. Free car parking and lots of spaces available. Receptionist was slso very friendly.Lamphey Hall is set in a lovely location.A short walk to Lamphey Palace and local pub for evening meal.A five minute drive into Pembroke town.

Found easy enough, good parking on site, didn't look that welcoming from outside, you definitely need a car to get around as only one pub in walking distance which done nice food but need to book. And a garage shop. Room was a nice size but dirty around the edges especially behind the bed, the shower was not very good it's for hair washing when sat in bath which is very big and takes to long to fill up. The staff which we seen were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was adequate.

The accommodation was fine and clean. The staff (when they are present on site), are very friendly. The system of getting access and getting the key after 16:00 hrs is little bit... different than what I experienced in the past (sorry, but not all travellers must be familiar with all styles of "remotely checking in"). I was a little bit disappointed about the fact that in the advert I understood that I could get a bathtub , while in fact I got just shower (sorry, as you can guess, I am a bathing person..., yes, you are very right, nobody is perfect... especially not me).

A nice hotel in a good location, just a short drive from Tenby and Pembroke Castle is just around the corner. Really easy to find. The owner was very helpful in recommending places to visit. The room was good and fairly clean - there were a couple of issues which were raised at the time. The hotel itself does advertise on its website as having a restaurant, however this is a 10 minute drive away in Lydstep. The food there was good and reasonably priced, but whilst it advertised on social media as serving food from 12-8pm, I found this not to be the case when arriving just before 7 and was told the chef wasn't serving any more food. I was disappointed with this. Overall a good hotel in a nice part of the country and easy to get to various places of interest - I will likely return in the future

If you’re after a cheap place to rest your head while exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire, it will do. But bear in mind that there’s no reception and not much staff in the hotel. The free breakfast is continental (i.e. cereal, bread to make toast with, a coffee machine). And the rooms while clean are a bit shabby, with some very questionable plastering in places. Thankfully there’s a lovely pub 5 minutes’ walk away, and some other good places to eat a short drive away. But next time I’m here, I might stay elsewhere.

Check-in required a call to a telephone number, which, for a foreigner, was a bit complicated. The room was okay, surprisingly spacious, although rather minimally decorated. The bathroom was okay but the shower very confined. The breakfast was adequate but was lacking products with protein; eggs and deli meats would be a necessary addition. Parking was good and easy.

The property fulfilled the brief - easy - unassisted ( no reception staff) room access. No bar/drinks except soft available in un-staffed lounge. Breakfast did not cater for allergy needs even though a note had been put on booking. Bed was OK , en-suite shower room was size of a walk in closet and disappointing for a Delux room. Sofa and TV in room were good. Wardrobe was a cupboard with no door! Plenty of parking. Staff in the morning were helpful and kowledga le about the area and helped show guests what the continental self-help breakfast was. Better coffee would be good to have - but it was there and was a help yourself. Type. Not sure if it was value for money - we had spent the previous 8 nights in two other 4* spa hotels and paid only a small amount more per night.

De kamer zelf is heel ruim maar de badkamer is amper 2 vierkante meter. De douchecabine is erg krap. Er is nergens plaats in de douche om iets van shampoo of douchegel te plaatsen. Er is ook zwarte schimmel op de voegen. De rolgordijnen in de kamer zijn ongeveer een halve meter te kort en kunnen dus niet het hele raam verduisteren. De matras en de kussens zijn van goede kwaliteit. Het ontbijt is erg pover. Enkel toast met choco of confituur, voorverpakte chocoladebroodjes en wat doosjes ontbijtgranen. Wij vonden het te duur voor wat het was. Zouden niet meer terugkomen.

The Lamphey Hall is okay and to be honest for the price we paid it was fine, Rooms are spacious but the maintenance is a little bit to be desired, evidence of leak damage in a couple of areas, plug missing from sink and wrong plug for bath. Cleanliness was average ie linen clean but under the bed hadn't seen a hoover for a long time. Quite a heavy damp smell when you enter the front door. No hospitality trays in the rooms, but really should have a kettle and at least some mugs or glasses so you can at least make or have a drink in your own room. Breakfast was ok, again for the price we paid it was okay, problems with the coffee machine only seemed to highlight the need for kettles in the rooms. Staff very helpful and polite. Overall it was Okay.

Lovely stay at Lamphey Hall .Tim met us and we instantly felt welcome, he is such a good host , welcoming everyone and engaging in conversation about our trip , letting everyone know about the area and what is going on . Breakfast was lovely, well organised and plentiful. We will definitely be staying again .

The instructions on how to enter the property and find our room were clear and easy to follow. The hotel inside and out, was tidy and presentable. Paths had been swept and the downstairs lobby and lounge area were welcoming. Lights had been left on, even though it was only early evening. Our room was spotless. No dust, no bits on the carpet and the bathroom had been properly cleaned. The bed linen and towels were white and very clean. No frayed edges on the towels or shabby looking materials. There was also a good selection of nice toiletries. Yes, the hotel is in need of updating, however, the owners are clearly doing their best. I would like to congratulate them on what they have achieved and wish them every success. They are clearly working hard with the resources they have and deserve to succeed. The breakfast area was immaculate. The couple of plates we'd seen the previous night had been removed. There was a good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit juice, pastries, bread and fresh fruit. Everything had been thought about and carefully prepared. It did feel lonely with there being no staff present at all during our visit. It would have been nice to have had a friendly face to welcome us as we arrived and at breakfast. For a cooked meal, the Dial Inn is within walking distance. Great, tasty food and lovely atmosphere. Advisable to book, if you want food, as it gets very busy.

This beautiful old hotel has been kept in excellent condition with tasteful modernizations. Shower was super with lovely fluffy towels! Beautiful countryside setting. Staff are friendly and helpful :) And the dinners were delicious.

We booked last minute to take advantage of the beautiful weather . The hotel was easy to locate , plenty of Car Parking space and we were greeted by a very friendly host . The decor takes me back to hotel stays when i was younger in a very nostalgic way . We will definitely re visit when the warm weather returns 🌞 Regards Paul
