I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this La Quinta location in West Palm Beach. This was by far the worst La Quinta I have experienced—more comparable to a slightly upgraded Motel 6 than what I expected for the price point.
The room conditions were unacceptable. I was unable to properly shower due to nonexistent water pressure. The bathtub appeared to be spray-painted and was peeling, and the shower head was both rusted and covered in mold. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance were very concerning.
The continental breakfast was equally disappointing. It was scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m., but by the time I arrived at 7:33, there was nothing left except a mess. It appeared that only a handful of guests were accommodated before everything ran out, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this size.
Considering the nightly rate, the overall experience did not meet even basic expectations. Unfortunately, the room was nonrefundable, making the situation even more frustrating. Lesson learned.
