Only stayed for the one night, and I shall be honest in that I have stayed at worse places, but there was a significant show-stopper at the Golders Park that has led to this review.
The room was clean enough, bed freshly made (and quite comfortable) and fresh towels provided. There were some tea and coffee sachets and a few little pots of long life.
Room was small, but at this price I doubt you'd get much more anywhere.
The issue for me, and the reason for this review, was the shower. It did not work, absolutely nothing came out at all. We discovered this at around 9am and just dressed and went out to find breakfast, but the reason it was not working was that the shower head was totally blocked up with a grey flaky gunge. I know the water in London is hard, but this was not something that might have occurred instantly, it must have been brewing for some time, and it was only when we asked the staff that they investigated and produced a new shower head. In my view, this indicated that they just don't care.
So overall, slept OK, but set your expectations low or this place will fail to meet them.
