We stayed here based on previous good reviews, however they must have stayed somewhere else. The room was dirty- we had to remove spiders, flys and bugs daily; there were dirty clothes left from previous occupants between the mattress and the wall; and the carpet was nasty.
The WiFi was slow and intermittent in the room, but worked well from two blocks away. Loud trash pick up or construction started before 7am every morning. There was an overwhelming smell of pot, but that’s an issue most places you stay.
The breakfast and coffee were great and the pool looked nice.
Also, we paid for an upgraded room but were informed when we got there they did not save one for us, however they would not refund the upgrade fee, and told us to contact Hotels.com. We did, but Hotels.com was less than helpful and we had to eat the extra cost. Will not use them again for a long, long time, if ever and we will never stay at an Econolodge again. You get what you pay for, however this place is not worth the cost.
