Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We especially appreciated that they upgraded our room to a better one, which was a nice gesture. The location is excellent—very close to Istiklal Street, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.
There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast was disappointing, with a limited variety of food. The breakfast area was quite small, making it difficult to find a free table during busy hours. In addition, when some food items ran out, they were not refilled promptly, and even clean plates were unavailable at one point.
The spa was under renovation during our stay. The hotel kindly arranged for us to use the spa facilities at their nearby sister hotel, which was only about a 4-minute walk away, and we appreciated that solution.
Our room also had several technical issues. The door handle was broken, and our key card stopped working multiple times, requiring us to have it reactivated. The window did not close properly, so we could hear a lot of noise from outside. Additionally, the refrigerator was not cooling correctly—it seemed to heat instead of keeping our drinks cold.
Overall, the hotel’s greatest strengths are its friendly and helpful staff and its excellent location. With improvements to the breakfast service and better maintenance of the rooms, the experience would be much better.
