I drove by this motel for 45 years thinking it was just a dump, but I decided to meet a family member and it was convenient and to my surprise it was although an old motel it was car cared for, and it was not a sleazy motel

This is a $70 hotel That really isnt worth 20 it is the cheapest in st louis on hotels. He requires a $10 pet down payment even if its a service animal. He was going to let me sleep on the streets and keep my money if I didn't give him the 10. Ultra rude guy. The ac in room stays shut off so the stench of piss stays nice and stagnant.

All in all not a bad place but I've stayed better. Owner could be more polite.but staff was very helpful, polite and courteous.rooms have no fridge and your lucky to get a remote for tv.

This is the worst motel I've ever been to in my life and it's grounds are not safe for anyone unfamiliar with the area. Im from here and it wasn't safe for me. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

The first thing that came to my head as I walked into my room and looked around was "roach motel." There weren't actually any roaches (that I could see) but I can't think of a better descriptor. Wifi worked sparingly, the TV relied on a wack antenna-like device that didn't work, someone wrote shower instructions in the shower in marker but the way it was smeared made it look like blood. There was also no hot water. Bed was comfy, at least? Thankfully I was only there overnight. Any longer and I might've gone insane.

This hotel is completely unfit for habitation; it needs to be demolished.

There are about 10 parking spots which were all taken up and there is no other parking and the entire area is under construction.

Its in a poor part of town. They are making improvement, but have a long way to go. Bed was comfortable, linens were clean but only one towel in the room. Light ou the outside was shinning in the window all night...only a light weight curtain in tje room. I felt safer when the owner told me someone was at the entrance atvall times.

Do not stay here. Booked longer but only stayed 1 night - then left first thing in the morning. Unclean and unsafe. No form of refund either.

Guy at the front desk was rude. The room looked like an escape room, pretty terrifying or like a crime scene. Filthy bathrooms, filthy bedding with burn holes. Dangerous area with crack heads on the corner asking for money as your are trying to check in.

Room was disgusting crack heads screaming the whole time it was really awful

When I my room, it was filthy. There was riding on the bathroom shower.\n The lady behind the desk told me that there was no rooms available after I told her that I had paid online for it. Then she made me pay. An extra $10 for my friend of which I had already paid for all 3 of us, but she made me pay $10 more. Also , they said there was no visitors allowed. So overall , with the motel in the people that worked there , I am very dissatisfied

Realize, we are talking downtown East St. Louis. One block away is the remnants os Sportsman Park. This is where the Cardinals played until 1966. I had been on the road for over 3 days. I was tired, and it was late. I was tired and looking for a bed, nothing more. The sheets were clean, and bed comfortable. I slept well. Nothing current of fancy. Woke up refreshed, and continued on my travels
