Outstanding, this is a real hidden gem. Quiet location (the only tricky part is the approach road which is a typical English country lane. The setting is nothing short of idyllic and the hostess (Caroline) was amazing. The room was clean, well-kept and spacious. Breakfast was nothing short of excellent every day with a good choice of options. This was without a doubt one of the best bed and breakfast experiences I have had. Location is close to the Bridport coast as well as within easy driving distance of Weymouth and Exmouth. I cannot recommend strongly enough, just an overall outstanding experience.

Fantastic stay at oxbridge farms! Carolyn and Jo were both so helpful and attentive! The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view. We were also greeted by their very friendly dog. Would definitely stay again if we come back to visit the area in the future! I would note that roads into the property are single lane country roads just as an FYI for those driving in.

Delightful property with excellent rooms. Quiet views into fields. Our host was wonderful and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious as was tea and cake in the lawn. It’s a very windy lane to the farm but well worth the drive. Highly recommend

The property is a slice of heaven with rolling hills divided into plush green fields divided by hedge rows. The quiet outdoors is only broken by singing birds and the local sheep and horses. The farmhouse is beautiful with Carolyn being the perfect hostess. Morning breakfast was wonderful and served with a smile. We loved it.

Carolyn was an excellent hostess, and found time to chat to us. The tea and sponge cake on arrival were very welcome, and the breakfasts excellent. We appreciated the lovely lounge, and very comfortable bedroom. We have stayed in a lot of b & b 's over the years, and I think this is best one. Nick & Sue.

A perfect break in the Dorset countryside

Oxbridge Farm is a delightful place to stay. The location is lovely, deep in the Dorset countryside at the end of a narrow lane and surrounded by fields and woodland. The house and bedrooms are very comfortable, elegantly furnished but cosy and our host Carolyn gave us a warm welcome with tea in the lovely garden. Breakfasts were generous and delicious and served in a small dining room round a friendly communal table with other guests. We could not recommend it more highly.

Lovely setting. Easy to find. Lovely people (plus two well behaved Labradors). Lots of land to explore. Sheep and wildlife a plenty. Our room was exceptionally large as was the bed. The shower was well behaved and roomy. It all looked new. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The owners were all friendly. Even the babe in arms waved us goodbye! Would I stay again? YES.

A good stand out experience

First time to stay in Dorset so didn't know what to expect but found the location to be an excellent base to travel from. On arrival we felt relaxed straight away, beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking space, greeted with tea and cake and a lovely smile from our host. Looking back, the tea and cake said it all because everything after that was to the same high quality standard. The room was spacious and very comfortable with ensuite facilities as you would expect these days, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, quality bedding and towels, just couldn't ask for more but there was more to come! The breakfast menu was full of choice but everything on the menu was just the best!, quality, quantity and presentation but best of all was freshness and the taste of the food. If you love good quality food then Oxbridge Farm is the place to go to it's a great start to the day. We have done many hotels and B & Bs but this is a stand out experience. Looking forward to returning again soon.
