I had a pleasant short stay at the International Hotel.
It is in a great location, within walking distance of Canary Wharf, and has easy access to public transport.
My stay was good value, but this was for a twin room (single occupancy) without any windows, which may not be suitable for everyone or for longer stays, but was fine for what I needed and I would book again in similar circumstances.
Check in was quick with no issues, and staff were, smartly dressed, friendly, courteous and professional.
Public areas, including reception seating and the conservatory bar were clean and comfortable. The conservatory overlooks the water towards the Wharf and is a nice area to unwind and relax in. The photographs on the Hotels.com site reflect the current look of the hotel fairly in my opinion.
I didn’t dine during my stay, but the conservatory bar had a decent choice of drinks, including coffee, and prices were reasonable for a London hotel.
Despite the lack of natural light and small size, my room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided: clean towels, toiletries, tea / coffee making facilities, etc.
During my stay there wasn’t anything really to fault, so at the right price I would definitely recommend this hotel.
