DO NOT BOOK. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to find no one at reception, only envelopes with room keys. There were no check-in instructions and no Lausanne Travel Pass, which is advertised as a complimentary benefit and should be provided at check-in.
The room appeared not to have been properly cleaned. The beds were covered in hair, sheets were missing, and we were given only two towels for three guests.
There was no staff available to help. We couldn't call the posted contact number ourselves because none of us had international calling, so we asked a Swiss friend to call on our behalf. He was told no one would be at the hotel until Monday, two days later. The only solution offered was that a maid might come several hours later that evening.
Getting the Lausanne Travel Pass was equally frustrating. Instead of receiving it at check-in as expected, we spent over an hour trying to contact the hotel and then providing information over the phone before the passes were finally emailed to us.
By that point, we had lost confidence that our stay would improve, so we checked out after only a few hours and booked another hotel. We requested a refund that same evening due to the condition of the room and the lack of staff or assistance, but our request was denied.
A hotel should provide clean rooms, basic amenities, and someone available to assist guests. This property failed on all three.
