Our stay here could have been better - I think some deferred maintenance needs to be addressed. Our room was on the 9th floor, where the windows appear to be original to the building and they don't seal off the air or sound from outside, so the HVAC is working overtime to keep up on hot days and it was loud from morning to late night, making sleep difficult.
The bathroom had a motion light that turned on if you moved in bed, so we had to keep the door shut.
The view from our room was great, into Grant Park and could see Navy Pier, but the placement of the TV blocked much of the view.
Bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. Shower had great water pressure and was a nice large space so you didn't feel cramped with the dark tile.
Staff was excellent and greeted us each day and made our stay as comfortable as possible.
