Very good value and lovely comfy bed. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend and would book again.

Room was lovely and clean, the staff were all great There was allocated parking for the room but unfortunately for the first 2 days someone else decided to use it. The kitchen was closed in the pub on Sunday and Monday evening so I had to find alternative food but when the kitchen was open the food was lovely. On Saturday evening that had a steak night and the fillet steak I had was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten and it was cooked to perfection. Overall a very good place to stay.

A nice pub with friendly staff. Although we didn't eat in the pub the food looked good. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay in a charming town. Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat out in the restaurant but it had a nice atmosphere.

Lovely place to stay, well located. Room is excellent, enough space and storage. Decent bathroom. Big TV, fridge with a little freezer, tea and coffee bits and cereal & porridge for breakfast. Didn’t interact with staff much or use the pub as we had evening events all booked, but overall it was a perfect place to stay for a few nights. I’d definitely go again, can’t fault it really.

Very comfortable room. Could not figure out how to turn the heat on and there is no one in the pub overnight to call on. Breakfast was disappointing.

The second time that I have stayed here and it doesn't disappoint. A good value place with the added bonus of being able to get a decent meal at the pub without having to travel.

Had a really good stay here, everything you needed was in the room which was very clean, very warm and shower was excellent. Good choice for breakfast as well and meals in the pub where of a very high standard. We will definitely return to the King and Queen 😀

I did not expect that the room would be detached from the pub and there was no one in the facility overnight. I had questions about how to turn on the heat but there was no one to ask. Staff person was very nice but when she checked me in and showed me the room I didn’t know it was going to get cold.
