Very expensive and cheap feel . Did not come close to other hotels I have stayed at in comparable price ranges No robes in room. Bathroom locked and felt like a cut rate motel included breaker was. Donuts and mediocre pastries and cold cereal and scrambled eggs from a chafing tray

Need twice as many towels because they are thin and not so big. The gym was a disappointment. The equipment needs to be serviced for example one treadmill needs to have the display fixed. Also many of the weights are missing and there were no towels. The breakfast during the week is not good. Weekend was better. But overall the room was quiet and comfortable and that is what matters the most.

I and my family out of 9 days only was given one free breakfast and only gave for 2 people! Your place said free breakfast every day not one day and then only part of family eat ! Something was wrong with your air conditioner in Room 130, it took them 2 days to fix it while I was sweating! I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned but it never got cleaned so much hair everywhere in there!

The property showed noticeable signs of age and wear. The hallways were not well lit, and many of the room doors were scuffed or damaged. In my room, the tiles around the shower were in terrible shape and very poorly patched. The shelf for the sink was below standard height and sloped downward. All in all, this was not an experience worth the $450 room rate.

Will never stay here again. They put us in a dirty room, knowing this. We met other groups they also tried to put in that room. Our smoke detector starting chirping at 2-am both nights we were there, and when we called the front desk they said there was nothing we can do. They replaced it after the first night, and it happened again! Very dark everywhere in the hotel, including hallways and parking lot. Heat would not shut off. So, once you turned it on it just ran and ran. We had to sleep with it off and the room was freezing. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Older property, and it’s like a maze to find your room. Name of hotel isn’t even listed on building as what you booked. Online listing of hotel shows that it’s a “permanently closed” location so I called and was on hold for 25 min, and then finally verified it’s an open property. Staff not very helpful, like I was a bother.

The hotel is in transition of ownership and it has not been maintained. The carpets are dirty. The room was musty and the AC made the room smell moldy. We had to ask for hand soap. I think the staff was trying their best under difficult circumstances. The coffee maker was broken. One good thing was the bed. It was very comfortable.

The fact that this hotel is currently in transition of ownership is very apparent. My room had peeling wallpaper in several places and you could tell that the bed spread and linens were old and worn. Also, during the four days I stayed there, my room never received housekeeping once - even though I specifically went to the front desk each morning and personally requested it as instructed. Some days I even asked twice. I was able to receive fresh towels whenever I asked.

The staff, location and hotel were wonderful. However, I had my 21 and 24 year old children check In before my husband and I. My daughter was nervous to stay because they heard people complain at the desk about being in their room and another family had a key and came into their room. They were double booked. My daughter was concerned about safety. We had no where else to go and the night went fine, but still….

This hotel was misrepresented and had changed ownership by the time we arrived. They were unable to find our Expedia booking and asked us to pay again. The staff was unhelpful and rude. The hotel was not well kept and disheveled and at times fighting. We were very disappointed that this was represented as a different hotel by Expedia.

Arrived at 1:20p.m. and check-in was 3p.m. - however we were not allowed to check-in unless we paid a $25 early check in fee. Obviously a room was available at that time and the hotel was trying to make $25 by offering nothing more that other hotels offer for free. Furthermore the hotel room window had a huge crack. The a/c fan was so loud we had to change rooms. And the pool was closed.

Hallway was very very dark. Our room took us past the laundry room where the laundry was in various stages of being washed/dried. Room was very dark and dreary. Our view was into an arcade. No outside access. Awful for price we paid. Restaurant was not positive. Our order was not correct. When we told waitress it wasn't what was ordered, she disappeared into the kitchen and eventually returned to tell us the kitchen had run out of what we ordered so substituted. We should have been given opportunity to chose something. Tablecloth had food and grease stains from previous customers. Breakfast next morning was like a holiday inn. Not very good. Fake eggs. Bread offered for toast didn't even fit in the toaster. Juice machine out of order. Could have offered juice from a carton. I mean it was really poor. Employee manning the buffet was working very hard to keep up with the crowd. The staff was pleasant so i really shouldn’t have given them a 2. I think management should be more aware of these shortfalls.

This hotel is in bad shape and dirty. Room was dirty, coffee maker was dirty and supplies incomplete, no towels were in the room and the comforter on the bed was horrible. Staff was not able to handle the complaints and it seemed that they were short staffed and unable to handle the customers or issues with the customers. Overall a bad experience.

This is an aging property, poorly designed and in need of replacement, not a touch up, not a redecorating or renovation, replacement. The facility surrounds a pool that adds an uncomfortable level of humidity to the entire building. The room AC's can't keep up, particularly on hot days. The cleaning crew works only on request, and personally, I'm just tired of the woke, eco-friendly BS at lodgings. We pay for cleanliness, convenience and service, I really don't care how environmentally conscious you claim to be.

Average stay with potential. Overall, our stay at the Kingston Regency Inn was average and could have been better. We upgraded to a suite before arrival and were glad we did-the room was very spacious, and we enjoyed having the jacuzzi. Despite being near the arcade and pool, the room was surprisingly quiet, and the blackout curtains kept the courtyard lights out. A special shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind. When there was confusion about our room, he made sure we received the level we had booked, and he was consistently helpful whenever we called. Unfortunately, we had several concerns. After being away all day and evening, we returned to find our courtyard door completely unlocked and propped open, apparently by whoever had entered the room. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but it was extremely concerning. Even more disappointing, our concerns were not taken seriously-we never heard from a manager and no one attempted to address the situation. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. We requested service each day, but towels weren’t replenished, and we had to request them separately. The room also had a musty smell. The hotel itself is undergoing significant construction and maintenance, with bathrooms out of order and other areas needing attention. We understand it’s under new ownership and has transitioned from Best Western to Kingston Regency, so hopefully these are growing pains.
