The hotel was very comfortable and it was on the water the only thing I thought could have better was the breakfast Some mornings it was not very good.

The view was beautiful, you could see the sunsets from the jacuzzi. Rooms were spacious and suprisingly clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Clearwater bridge was just a few miles south, it was a very nice place to bring in 2012!

The breakfast is impressive. We have been there three times and will continue to use them.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The only problem we had was the bathroom. There was no ventalation in the bathroom so after the shower it was all foggy and hot and humid. Breakfast area was small but food was ok. Over all the hotel served its purpose. I would stay there again.

Perfect location for us while househunting in Pinellas County. Had a gulf-view from our room-- in fact from my bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Hot breakfast was very nice. The walking and jogging sidewalk along the water is a real plus. So great price, and no complaints. Thumbs up!

The hotel was very clean and we were minutes away from everything we needed. Would stay there again.

Wifi was nonexistent in our room on the second floor, west end of the building. Front desk stated we were too far from the router, would need to use a cable connection for access. Since I was using an iPad, that was not an option. I took my iPad to breakfast the following morning and still could not access wifi. Tried using my iPhone with a speed test […] app, and being less than 50' from center of the building, I only barely received a signal. As we were leaving, I felt no need to persue the issue further. If wifi is very important to you, I would recommend checking with them to see if this issue has been resolved prior to booking your room here. Leia mais

first night we stayed, our room had no a/c. we were moved acrossed the hall. a/c was better, but it never got so cold that you could say "wow i'm freezin, turn it down." we had no linens for the pull out sofa and since their is no room service, i had to go get them myself. in the first room, the toilet overflowed. the first morning, i woke up to […] the pleasant sounds of a cement mixing truck directly under my window @ around 8:30 am (they are building a future mini golf area under the first floor - should be fabulous) oh yes, and on our second night, the ONE elevator was broken, so we had to lug ourselves up three flights of stairs, not exactly a skyscraper, but definately not what i wanted to do on vacation. our room was not cleaned each day they had no wireless internet. i had to giv them $10 cash deposit to get a ethernet cable to borrow. i did get my money back when i left. The staff was friedly enough. The room it self needed more cleaning than it got! The telephone was very dirty and the comforter on the bed had some spots, needed to be washed. I would recommened, but I would also mention my experience.

Very nice, clean, spacious room. Restroom was clean. Just wish there was a balcony to enjoy the beautiful surroundings more!

breakfast was great, even belgian waffle maker. nice pool & whirlpool. Beds could have been nicer, and found beverage spray on headboard and walls. beath a nice size.

The stay at the hotel was very nice. We asked for a non smoking room and the room smelled awful of smoke. But that could have been guest who did'nt follow the rules. The pool and spa was very nice. The continental breakfast in the morning was very good. The internet connection was not good at all. It was in close proximity to Clearwater Beach. The staff […] was very nice. The room was clean except for the smell. The bathroom was very clean. We had a wonderful time. I would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again. Leia mais

Overall hotel was good for the price hotel staff said it was a cupple of minutes from the beach which of course is incorrect. But the overall was nice

This was a very pleasant hotel. The people who worked at the desk were very helpful in giving us information we needed to get to the beach and to find things we needed. Not a lot of services were offered, but there was a nice hot breakfast every morning with plenty to eat,and we really didn't need much during our stay. I wouldn't call it a "luxury" […] hotel, but it was very nice, and we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Leia mais

We enjoyed staying at the hotel very much, only there was no internet or wireless in de room because they had a rauter problem? It's easy to replace that and make you promises come true. The breakfastroom was too small, people were standing in the hall with there plate, eating there breakfast. But the rest was great.

The hotel was very nice and clean.

The staff is very rude and the room we stayed in had a broken air conditioner, broken toilet, broken light fixture. and very uncomfortable/scratchy blanket and sheets. We called the service desk and asked for help with our room, They said there was nothing they could do for us. We left after only one night and found a different hotel instead.

we stayed at the Hotel in clearwater FL. 05/2011 it was clean and the beds were comfortable for the money it was a nice place to stay the one thing I found wrong was that out side the tables was not clean and trash was piled up. was a little shocked that it didn't have smoking rooms, but the staff was very friendly. the room i was in had a great view of the bay. there is nothing close so had to drive everywhere

My initial reservation was for Compfort Suites but I changed it to the Pelican Point instead. You forgot to update. However everything worked out. Pelican point was very good. Had a great stay.

Upon settling into our room, we were quite shrouded to discover there was a full tub of water that apparently had been dripping since the last occupants. The air conditioning ran incessantly and sounded like a delivery truck outside the front window. On our second night's stay while getting ready for dinner, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling […] in the bathroo This water turned into a deluge, soaking all of our things as I rushed to remove them. I was quite thankful we had been in the room. Water seeped into the front hallway as well. Luckily we were moved into another room with apologies, but there was no offer for any type of compensation for our inconvenience. I do concur with other guests that the continental breakfast seating area is very small, but the food was quite good and the woman who worked there was very nice and accommodating. The first room we were put in was smeling rooten humidity..it was impossible to open the Windows to get rid of the odor, which was umberable. We change room and ended up with a noisy family next door. Away from that the location is great and the rooms are clean.

The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Staff were friendly and room was very clean. Very pleased. I would stay here again.

We left within hours of our stay. Our room was disgusting. It was dirty and the mattress for crip they gave for our baby was full of urine stains. This place was very shady. when you stay at a hotel, you want to feel secure that the room was cleaned prior to your stay. I didn't feel anything of the sort.

Came to spend a couple of days to see family. Quiet neighborhood. Nice location. Easy to find. Breakfast was great, rooms were perfect, and staff was very friendly.

The first room we had did not have a working air conditioner. We were quickly accomodated to a new room. Even though the facility is nonsmoking, the new room smelled like cigarette smoke. We also brought that to the attention of the front desk. They brought some Lysol spray which helped. This was a nice place, clean and spacious. The walls are a bit thing so you can hear a bit of noise, but other than that, all was well. I was not able to connect to the Wireless network in my room had to hard wire, but a minor inconvenience. The breakfast is simple but filling. I'd stay here again.

We liked the hotel, the location, and the layout of the room; however, there were two problems. In the separate seating area, which was very nice, the springs on the sofa had given out. It was possible to sit on the sofa but very uncomfortable. The second problem was a non-working TV remote. I reported this twice to the desk person, but it was not  […] remedied. Leia mais

We were very pleased with the hotel itself. The room was exceptionally large and roomy for the price. It was a little difficult in exiting the hotel on the main road. When we pulled into the hotel parking lot there were two employees smoking in the parking lot next to the entrance. Since we are both non-smokers this was a turn-off. Excellent hotel and amenities. Friendly staff. Breakfast was okay; had the basics and was well supplied. Located in quiet residential neighborhood. If you don't mind being a few miles from the beach or restaurants/stores, this is a great location. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Enjoyed the location, our room was very nice and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The pool was sparkling clean and it was a nice area for walking. We will definitely return.

Hotel is on Clearwater Bay with bay view. Clearwater beach is about ten minutes away. Central location for day at beach and for touring Clearwater and Tampa (~20 minutes away). Great breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. Free use of computers (2) in lobby. I would stay there again.

Room was clean. Bring your own breakfast food. Waffle was good but not worth the long wait for the one waffle machine. Other food available left much to be desired. Strange odor in the hallway of the 2nd floor. Reminded us of a dentist's office. Don't plan on sleeping on the pullout couch. The whole experience was horrible. our room was hot and stuffy. Fresh air was not an option. Our room key was given to others due to a mistake at the front desk - the manager gave our key out and our room was ransacked by thieves - all caught on the hotels security cameras!! The police were called, the hotel manager took no responsibility. The cleaning […] staff were truly compassionalte and helpful - too bad the general manager was not able to take lessons from her staff. The local police were also truly wonderful and went way above and beyond to retrieve our belongings. The hotles owner was in some Middle Eastern country and had no interest in customer service or follow up of any kind. What a horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!! Leia mais
