O Hotel é simples, porém muito bem localizado. A uma quadra do Hotel, em caminhada bem tranquila, tem-se bom supermercado, um Mac Donald's, um pequeno centro de compras com loja da Ross - a rua fica entre as Hollywood Blvd e a Sunset que se estendem para importantes pontos turísticos. Acabei de me hospedar neste Hotel. O apto é modesto, o banheiro pequeno e simples; no entanto sempre que chegávamos, estava bem arrumado, cheiroso, com boas toalhas e sempre repondo-se os sabonetes e shampoos. A recepção é super simples, onde é servido o café da manhã - tem-se bons donut's doces, croissant, café americano e suco de laranja. Tem-se Wi-fi com bom acesso rápido à internet e na recepção um computador com uso livre para o hóspede por 15 min. Impressão é cobrado US$ 0.50 por folha. Eu e minha família curtimos bastante a estadia no mesmo. Voltaríamos sim.

O fato de ter o metro ao lado do hotel, onde pode-se ir a vários pontos da Hollywood Boulevard, inclusive a Universal Studios, já tem minha preferência, o preço é outro ponto a favor. Hotel para se hospedar apenas para dormir, excelente custo-benefício . Li um relato que uma hospede pagou para receber encomendas no hotel, mas isso não aconteceu comigo. Recebi encomendas e não me cobraram nada. Recomendo

Excelentes acomodações, quarto limpo e espaçoso, ótimo café da manhã. Hotel muito bonito, ambiente agradável. O translado aeroporto - hotel ocorre durante as 24 horas, de 30 em 30 min, basta esperar do lado de fora do aeroporto, onde passam as vans.

Fiquei hospedade dia 10 a 13/11/11, nossa vcs não imaginam a localização deste hotel. Fica 2 quadras da calçada da Fama/ teatro Kodak/ teatro chinês/Hard Rock....Tem um supermercadinho, subway ótimo para tomar café, bem em frente do hotel..tudo de bommm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O hotel está super bem localizado perto do Chinese Theater e da Sunset BL, os quartos são amplos qu são servidos por duas camas Queen que não são lá muti grandes, mas compensão pelo conforto. Clean rooms. I felt extremely comfortable in downtown la.... Very clean and comfortable.... Yes, construction going on, but I can deal with that as long as I feel comfortable getting in the bed at night.... Plus, we stayed on a Saturday night, So we had no problem with construction Sunday morning...

I found my room to be clean, modern and comfortable after recent renevation. The hotel lobby is also nice and clean, the rest is a disaster. They are in the process of becoming Hilton Garden Inn but the process is ugly. Construction begins at 7AM sharp and you can hear it. They do quit by 5PM so the evening weren't bad. One morning I lost all cold water […] which was a bit frustrating (brushing teeth with hot not so fun). Was excited to stay here at first due to the fact it was so close to everything I wanted to do. My friend also recommended this hotel to me. Unfortunately i did not know it was under construction when I booked it. -_- It is being turned into a Hilton Garden Inn. The room was ok. Pretty small, couldn't even open the bathroom door all the way because […] it hit the side of the bed. Did have a nice TV, coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Staff were not the nicest. When we checked out it happened to be pouring down rain. When we went to get out car from valet, we had to stand in the rain, bags and all and get soaked while we waited for them to find out car. Hotel was great and central to Hollywood. Hotels.com web site said nothing about construction work being undertaken at the hotel. We asked about this during the checkin and they said they had advised hotels.com and it was also clearly shown on the hotels website.
"Remodeling crews start hammering at 7 AM"
This is a really nice hotel that was in the middle of major remodeling construction when we were there in December 2011. We didn't know about the construction until we got there (the notice is small and at the very bottom of the long hotels.com web page). Really annoying to find this out after arriving.

The location is good, the only thing that bothered me, was that the hotel was under construction and nobody informed me while booking. so i dont know if ihave to recommend this hotel to anybody because it's going to be a hilton garden inn in spring 2012 and then the service hopefully will be better
"Poor customer service"
During a recent trip to see a play i booked a room through Hotels.com. On the day of the reservation I called the hotel to confirm my room and the fact I needed the room with two beds. This was confirmed by the front desk and I was told the room is ready. Upon my arrival the female at the desk gave me a room with one bed. When the lady was asked about […] our earlier convesation she stated that she did not recall. This major inconvenence cost me an additional $152.00 to the $129.00 I had already spent. The staff knew that the room was needed but chose to give the room away and probably charged a higher rate than what i spent. this type of service is uncalled for and i will tell anyone that wants ti listen this hotel sucks. The hotel's lobby was very small, the rooms were very small, the elevators felt like they were going to cave in. The ceilings were really low my boyfriend who's 6'4" could almost touch the ceiling with his head. The hotel is under construction none of which was told by hotel.com or in the hotel description. The 1st floor is a mess, The most horrible construction noise started at 8am, this included pounding and drilling. impossible to sleep. This hotel is OK. The bed is soooo big. The location is great. However, the hotel was undergoing renovation. I don't recommend this hotel when it is under renovation.

The hotel is undergoing a comprehensive remodeling, including its facade. We couldn't recognize the building when we arrived and we passed the hotel by. There's no sign with the name of the hotel. Once inside, everything was under construction except for the reception and the rooms. There were no restaurants, lobby or anything. In the room, the heating […] unit was old and unusable because of the bad smell. We froze overnight. The carpet was dirty. The view through the window consisted of scaffoldings. The only positive aspects were the location and politeness of people. On top of that, parking was 50% more expensive than in surrounding hotels. "Construction and hidden costs"
The hotel room was great and walkable to everything! Wish I had known before about the pet deposit-$75 parking cost-$30, and construction. All of a sudden my cheap room got expensive.i understand it was cheap because of the construction and it wasn't that bad but I would have liked to know. Woulda been a whole lot easier to find too!

When we visited the hotel it was undergoing serious renovation. We found the construction mess, noise, and lack of facilities very annoying and off putting. While the hotel room itself was acceptable, on the whole the experience left much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel in it's current state.

The whole hotel was under construction including the bar/lounge and pool. We woke up at 7:00 am due to construction noise right outside our window. The hotel couldn't comp us anything due to everything being under construction. Once we got into the room the TV was broken. I would never stay at this hotel again.
The hotel was under construction and we were not aware of that. And also they charge $30 dollars per night for parking which we did not know. It was a non-smiking room that smelled like smoke.
Undergoing construction, which meant a lot of noise throughout he day, but thankfully none at night. Have to pay a 30 dollar parking fee, and their Internet server went down for half the day I was there. Ok if you just need the room to crash, within walking distance to the Kodak theater.

Check-in was at 3pm the hotel had no water and no electricity. Had to walk 7 flights of stairs to our room and finally light and water was on. Went to pantages threater. got back late. Check-out is at noon. AT 7AM construction started again and no sleep aloud. I went to take a shower and NO HOT WATER. I will never stay there again.

The entire hotel is under construction except the lobby. During the day I could visibly see the dust throughout the hotel hallways that I knew I was breathing due to the construction taking place. The walls are paper thin, so anytime doors were opened or people walked by talking it was easily heard in the room I was staying in. "nice location"
I liked this hotel because it was reasonable and the location was great. IT was under construction so I think that is why it was so affordable but I enjoyed it. The pool was closed though as a result.
"Surprise Construction"
After getting to the Hotel at midnight I was quite unpleasantly woken up at 6:45 by the sounds of drilling.... I was given a credit of 20% for the night but the very next morning I was woke up at 7 AM from drilling.... The front desk attendant was really pushy trying to sell tours. The hotel was in walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard (Kodak Theatre and walk of fame). The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathroom was abit dated but it was clean and well maintained. Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, this didn't disrupt our stay.

Stayed ther for 3 nights. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, except for the bartender who was extremly rude and arrogant. The downside ,the spar on the other hand was disgusting. There was black mould all around the edges of the spar and if you leant back to relax this black furry mould would get on your back!!. Could have been better. After driving for many hours I expected a nice peaceful stay. At 10pm the fire alarm went off for 15 minutes. We packed up and prepared to leave and found out it was just someone smoking. It went off again before midnight, again at 2am, again at 6am, and again at 8am. Perfect spot for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl or the Greek. We stay here when we travel up from Orange County for a concert at either venue. Great proximity to both venues as well as local restaurants and bars. Good deal for the price in the Hollywood area.

I learned to tolerate the fact that the hotel faces onto a busy LA artery, meaning noisy traffic at all times and a lengthy wait to get in and out of the parking garage. What I couldn't put up with was the fire drill held on the second day of my stay, which was not forewarned when I made my reservation and which resulted in a shrieking fire alarm going […] off in my room for more than 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon. The hotel staff was totally unapologetic about this and made no effort to reduce the ear-piercing interruptions or inform me when this was going to end. Not the best hotel. There is a Comfort Suites across the street that, if is cheaper, is probably just as good as Hollywood Heights (and don't they serve those tasty cookies too?!). The Hollywood Heights hotel is very close to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood and Highland complex many restaurants and nightclubs on Hollywood boulevard the only problem is The road noise from. Highland avenue is horrible. Bring earplugs
"Not a good choice"
Nice and helpfull staff are only good thing. Both the fridge and the iron in the room didn't work. Towels were dirty. Several stains on the pillows. Not a single power outlet in the room (unless you disconnect lights).

"Not Very LAish"
Without getting into crazy detail it was OK to say the least. Would i stay again NO, was it bearable YES, have i seen worse YES but considering the amount of money they charge is ridiculous for that type of hotel when all the time they are promoting renovations which were white bed spread a picture frame a chair and a flat panel. LOL
