Excelentes acomodações, quarto limpo e espaçoso, ótimo café da manhã. Hotel muito bonito, ambiente agradável. O translado aeroporto - hotel ocorre durante as 24 horas, de 30 em 30 min, basta esperar do lado de fora do aeroporto, onde passam as vans.

Este hotel não tem o mesmo padrão dos hotéis econômicos dos EUA, tem áreas com jardins, lago com carpas, móveis rústicos etc. O quarto também tinha decoração rústica e camas confortáveis. O café da manhã, apesar de simples, tinha produtos de qualidade e ambiente agradável. Não é tão próximo da Disneyland, mas isto pode ser considerado uma vantagem para quem quer sossego e não quer barulho de trânsito. O pessoal da recepção recebeu encomentas feitas pela Internet sem custo e com boa vontade (ao contrário de outros hotéis). Recomendo a todos !

A cama fazia muito barulho das molas e deixa a pessoa tonta.
O hotel está muito bem localizado, em frente a estação de metro, em uma região bem tranquila de LA. Recomendo bem o hotel!!

"The Wilshire Hotel"
O hotel e muito mais impactante pela sua recepção e lobby, porém os quartos deixam a desejar no quesito conforto, está localizado em um bairro coreano, com muitos hospedes e funcionários desta nacionalidade. A julgar pelo preçco da estadia eu recomendaria este hotel sim. Obrigado!

Close to Korean town but noise from street was unbearable.
"New Front Staff Needed!"
We were not at all impressed with the staff of the Wilshire Hotel. After calling them to fix a mistake in our booking we were assured everything was taken care of and we were given a new booking number. After traveling around America we decided to call the hotel and make sure everything was ready for us the next day. Not only did they not have a booking […] number for us, the rude lady on the phone kept telling us we needed to have "the name of the man we spoke to" in order for her to even understand what our query was. After asking to speak to her manager we were put through to the head of customer service who assured us a room would be ready for us when we arrived and she would email a booking number. In the morning, at the airport, we checked for an email with a booking number, but only an email asking us to call the hotel was found. We called and the person we needed to speak to was not there. We arrived at the hotel, they had no record of us for that date. After speaking to several incompetent people we finally got our room. The room was neat and tidy and had a view of the Hollywood sign, the amenities were functional (although rusted and water damaged) and all in all it was an acceptable room. It did not have WiFi in the room but the lobby and business centre did. I am giving a bad review because of the customer service, which was absolutely horendous. Most hotels keep a record of any communication or transaction between the customer and the hotel. This one does not and the people who work there need to be trained properly in customer service. I was very disappointed but the rest of our stay was not affected as the maids were good and the hotel itself was okay. Leia mais

"Budget and convenient hotel, could be noisy"
The hotel staff were friendly and the price was alright. It is not a great location but with metro station right in front of it, it is too much of an inconvenience.The room could be very noisy if you are on the wrong side. Although I made a special request I was given a noisy room. When I went down and requested the staff allocated me another room which […] was tolerable. "NOT WORTH THE MONEY!"
This hotel is just not worth the money they charge. The only nice thing about this hotel was the lobby. Everything in our room was so old and worn out. The bed comforters were outdated and the threading would get caught in your toes and fingers. The TV seemed to be from the 1980's and did not have a clear picture at all, not to mention there were hardly […] any channels offered. The whole night, we could hear the "ding" from the elevator, so a peaceful rest was not what we got. The water temps were not good either, I didn't get hot water until the end of my shower. For the price we paid, we just expecting it to be a whole lot nicer, we have stayed at "lower end" hotel chains that were so, so much better then this place. I would absolutely not stay here again, and I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here, if what you are looking for is a nice hotel. "not favorable"
i was excited to stay at the whishire bcuz of what i heard about it. however i guess the room i got in was not very clean. i requested a refrigirator i had to call to get one when i got there, the pillows didn't smell fresh i had to cover them with a t-shirt i brought. i just wasn't happy and i asked for another room and they didn't give me one. i dont […] like to complain however i've stayed in cheaper hotels n they were cleaner. now maybe it was just the section i was in but i didn't like my stay there. Great location but Hotel is going down the pit. Quality, service and conditions are awful.COLD, UNCLEAN ,NOISY because on reno. AVOID AT ALL COST UNTIL THEY RENOVATE.

I stayed in two double beds, both beds are too old and air conditioning and heater did not work properly. We set thermostat at 70 degree but had to wake up at 3'o clock in the morning because it's 80 degree in our room.

My wife and I picked this hotel for the convenience of being close to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl Parade. We saw photos of The Wilshire Hotel in LA on the website that made the hotel look very inviting. The lobby looked very nice as we walked in.Well the room was very small, hot, and noisy. The pillows were the smallest most uncomfortable pillows I've […] ever seen. The TV was old and the controls didn't work well at all. The air conditioner did not work well at all. The overall was very poor. The location was in a very dangerous. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will sleep on the sidewalk in Pasadena for the parade before I stay here again. "Done the job"
Hotel lobby is swanky but rooms are rather plain and dull looking.Nonetheless, if you do not spend much time in the room , they basically do the job of serving as a place to rest . Tvs are old fashion blocks and beds are rather dated. Location is great, bus 720 right outside the hotel brings you to rodeo drive and santa monica beach. "Wilshire Hotel in LA"
It was not a great hotel. The air conditioning did not work, the room was alwasy too hot, they did not give us towels the last two days of our stay. They make you get Valet parking which they charge seperately. They did clean our room very well. But there was no view, a building blocks most of the rooms view. I was not satisfied with the stay.
"Shabby"
The room was in very tattered condition. For the same price over TG holiday, the Hilton downtown was excellent.

"Very Run down hotel"
Very run down hotel with old and dirty looking carpets, beds, etc. The shower hot water was also not hot in one of the 2 rooms that we got.

"Everything is good, nothing is bad nor great"
Very good staff, excellent location for what I needed. Amenities are OK. Nothing special at all but a good, solid place to stay if this is the location you need. If you want polish and fine linens, this is not the place.
The room had a musty smell. The linen's were old and not enough supplied with the room. The kicker was no hot water.
"Barely Passable"
Pros: location and convenient coffee shop in the lobby Cons: This hotel has seen better days and in need of a major overhaul. The lobby was nice and impressive but the room we stayed in does not compare at all. The bed covers looked grungy, the pillows were lumpy and we had to asked for extra blankets because the thermostat did not work well and the […] A/C kept turning on in the middle of the night (it was pretty cold in L.A. the few days we were there). The bathroom door was warped and peeling (looks like water damage). I had to fix the water tank on the toilet as the chain on the stopper got stuck. The wallpaper on 3 walls had water stains on them (probably from a leak upstairs). Our room faced Wilshire Blvd and the traffic noise was loud enough to wake me up a few times even though our room was on the 9th floor. Conclusion: I do not recommend this hotel and I will not be going back. Leia mais

There internet is horrible, and needs to be upgraded. The owner of the hotel needs to take a different approach in style, have him walk over to the Standard Hotel. There idea can really change the faucet of there old tirade structure, and bring life into a dead corpses. Thats all, if you would like further comments please email me at anytime. ricky
"Older historical hotel"
I enjoyed the beauty this hotel had to offer, however, the room was toooo dated. There were several small but noticeable defects. A little could have made the room wonderful.

"The whiltshire a good place to stay"
We enjoyed our stay here very good ocation and very clean and comfortable a wee but expensive and a shame no free continental breakfast.
"Do not waste your valuable money."
I stayed here two days. I still do not understand the reason why staying there costs a lot compared to what they provide. No refrigerator. Old building. Unfriendly service. I didn't take a shower one day at night because they stopped providing water due to maintenance of water valves without prior notice to guests. "The Wilshire Hotel-recommended and friendly"
This hotel is located next to shopping and transportation and has very friendly stuff. There is a starbucks coffe inside the hotel and excellent bar/restaurant. The stuff is very friendly and the hotel is clean and offers excellent rates.

"The Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles"
The location is good for where I was working. It only took us 15 minutes or less to get to our destination. The only thing I can think of that could be better was the quality of the mattress on the bed. It was too soft. We got a great rate from Hotels.com.
"This is not a 3 star hotel"
The locationof The Wilshire Hotel was great for the wedding we where going to at the Ebelle of Los Angeles. The hotel staff was nice but the valet scratched up our car and did not want to accept responsibility. The water went out in the hotel and while the staff was responsive, it made for a bad night with no shower or toilet. We stayed on the top floor […] and there was extensive water damage to the walls and carpet. the room was very outdated for what we expected and the beds seemed old and tired. "Didn't love it, didn't hate it"
This hotel was just eh whatever. They only had valet parking for $25 which is normal for LA I guess. My biggest complaint would have to be about the hotel staff. I asked at check in (5:00pm) if they could send up a mini fridge for the room because I knew we were eating out and would take home leftovers. They said they would check with housekeeping […] and let us know if they had any available. Went out to eat, came home at 11:00pm, with leftovers in tow. No fridge in the room, no message from the front desk regarding this fridge. We called down and told them that we had previously requested a fridge. They said they would check with housekeeping. Great, tell me something I haven't already heard. Around 1:00am, just to prove a point, we called again. This time, not only did the front desk not pick up, housekeeping didn't pick up either. As I had tried but unsuccessfully prevent, my perfectly good leftovers from delicious Bottega Louie went bad and we had to toss the remnants of our $150+ meal. Thanks wilshire hotel. Thanks for the help. Complained the next morning and they said they would tell housekeeping about our complain. hah fat chance. Leia mais
"LA Music Awards Hotel"
We decided to stay at this hotel as it was within an easy drive of the awards show we were attending. The lobby of the hotel is grand, and the staff there are top-notch. However, the room was something else to be desired. The mattress was old, the TV was a small screen (with limited channels), and the bathroom although clean, truly needed a major overhaul. […] The carpet in the room was filthy, as was the furniture, and the pillows (only 3 on a king size bed) was small... and very flat! For the amount of money we spent, we could have spent a little more and stayed at a Hilton property with much nicer accommodations. Leia mais

Our beds were 2 full size that we're hard as a rock. The sheets were not fitted so by the time morning came you were sleeping on a mattress. The carpet is nasty and stained in the hallways and rooms. Our room smelled of mold and mildew, there were water stains on the ceiling and the vents were falling down. Don't try and get ice because there are only […] 2 machines and both were broken. The breakfast was 18 dollars a person and from the room I was not going to pay 18 dollars to eat in the nastiness. There was a deli in the lobby and a cup of fruit was 5 dollars...what a rip off. An old hotel but not a Boutique Hotel. Downtown LA, very conveniently located. Bell hops were fast and courteous. Front desk was friendly.
Hotel was not what I expected, I was told I would have a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa pullout...checked in and a rooms have only 1 king bed or 2 double beds...rooms are old and cigarette burns in carpet...bathrooms are extremely small....fitness area had 1 treadmill and 1 stair stepper....to get ice we had to go to a different floor.....just not […] what I expected or am used to when staying at hotels....television was very limited for channels also.....and it was very noisy,you can hear everything from people in hallway to the traffic outside....very annoying and we were on the top floor. 12. = (.
