The beds are great, location is wonderful, and most staff were friendly :) I actually forgot that it is a 4 star hotel, cos when I first arrived (for a 3 week stay), the bath soap and shampoo provided by the hotel were half-filled. That's unexpected. But I had thought that maybe it's their Save-the-Earth policy kind of exercise, so I didn't think any more. However, when by the 10th day and the bath soap had totally bottomed out in the morning, I realised it was not replenished when I returned in the night (even though the room was made up). So I figured that they don't replenish anything (bath soap, tea bags, tissue box that had 4 pieces left inside, etc) unless you ask. Hence I didn't say anything when my roomie's bedsheet (newly changed at that time) had pinkish smudge on it, and another time, the sheet had another coloured smudge. I mean, I couldn't possibly ask them to replace the whole bedsheet the way I had requested for topping up of bath soap or tissue box, right? I decided to reduce my expectations of a 4 star hotel. Hence, when some mysterious glob of brown stuff appeared on the countertop where the sink is, I finally wiped it off myself on the fifth day of its existence. The bathroom has no lock, and the shower seriously fluctuates between hot and cold. As a result, although I would usually want to give 5 stars as overall rating, I really honestly couldn't.
