Not as advertised
The room we received (rabbit) did not match the views posted from that room - large trees obscure much of the ocean view. There was a horrible smell coming from from the drain in the bathroom. We complained and were told to just pour water down the drain - this did little to help. The AC is among the items that do not power on unless your key fob is in the room, therefore there is no AC if you are out during the day. The room was very warm when we returned.
Hotels.com lists numerous amenities that are not present - there is no front desk nor staff around to help with issues. There is no bar/lounge. There is no room service at all, much less 24/7. While the hotel is technically beachfront, it is at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Beach access is from a public pathway that includes a walk with a steep staircase.
It was clean (smell notwithstanding), and the owner seems nice when she is around. But this is a self-service apartment that does not have the amenities of a usual hotel, and the listing is misleading
