The room water was hot; the AC worked well; staff was courteous. Otherwise, the stay was mediocre. The staff said that the jungle side rooms in which we stayed were just purchase three weeks before. These need work. The lighting at the sink was insanely terrible. There were literally NO towel hooks or bars; no place to put your clothes or suitcase other than on the floor. There were 5 hangars on a wooden bar. When it rained, the water came in under the door and around the windows. The food at the beach was bad at breakfast; good at lunch. There were NO chairs around the pool. The beach chaises and beds were $1,000 pesos for the day. They applied this to you food and drink bill like every beach club but not every hotel. It would have been nice not to have to pay to use a chaise at a beach hotel at which one stays. Cleaning crew forgot to clean our room a couple of times even though we specifically saw them on those days and asked for the cleaning.
