The hotel itself looks nice, and the front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming. However, a few issues during my stay made the overall experience less enjoyable.
When I first checked into my room, the toilet was not working because the water system was malfunctioning. Maintenance came to look at it, but he seemed extremely bothered about the situation even though it was clearly out of my control. Since the issue couldn’t be fixed, I asked if I could be moved to another room. His response was, “I guess, but before you leave this room make sure to make the bed.” That comment made me uncomfortable because it made it seem like no one would be coming back to properly clean or change the bedding. Even though I had only been in the room a few minutes, I still felt that it should have been cleaned regardless.
The front desk attendant did help by assigning me a different room, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the refrigerator in the new room was extremely noisy throughout the night.
Overall, the stay was okay, but the issues with the room and the interaction with maintenance made the experience feel pretty average.
