I can't recommend this hotel to anyone who's sensitive to smells. The room smelled musty and of tobacco, which made us want to turn around immediately and leave. The rooms are non-smoking, but there are ashtrays on the balconies, which apparently has let the smoke in. The rooms only have a separate small machine for mechanical ventilation if turned on, but it was covered in dust. So you need to open a window for ventilation, but the road next to the hotel is noisy. The bathroom also only seems to ventilate properly if the door is left open. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking. You can't block out the light coming from the outside, as the curtains only cover a part of the windows. The major plus is that the hotel is relatively inexpensive, and has good connections. The room having a fridge is also nice. The D tram takes you to Strasbourg in 25-30 minutes from straight outside the hotel, but the tram is always full, so consider yourself lucky if you get a seat.
