We stayed in the Promenade Tower, room was quite the walk, but very nice!
We did have a big problem with the room though, thermostat would not work, room was set at 74°( hot), finally got it to go to blue( light, from red) and set it at 67°, only got down to 71°! Called from desk, told me they could set it at our setting downstairs and it would be 67° after couple hours, came back from eating, temp 73°! Called again, desk sent up a tech/maintenance person, acted like he had it fixed, tested how cold blowing air was and said that should do it! Came back from gambling late, temp was 71°, not cool at all, woke up several times!
Got up, still 71° and light was back to red! Packed and went to front lobby to check out and tell them it was not working and everything we went through!
Said unfortunately we could not give a discount or refund since I got it through third party( HOTEL.COM)!!
Wasnt asking for refund, just voicing our miserable sleep, they should fix problem!
Eventually gave us a $20 gift card to Caribou coffee!
Kind of put the blame on booking with Hotel.com, like they had nothing to do with their buildings problem and Hotel.com should resolve this problem!
Makes a person want to think twice about booking with anybody beside property owner!
Is this how a person should feel????????
Wife says from now on, only book with business and not Third party!
Would like to hear a response from Hotel.com on where they stand for others to know! Will post
Had a great time otherwise!
