I asked the property if I could checkout 3 days early. They said it was okay with them but I needed to go through Hotels.com. I called Hotels.com and they said it was fine but would take a few days to get the refund. Once every was agreed I checked out.
Week went by, so I used the chat function. Hotels.com said they needed the property to confirm that they approved the early check out, but they couldn't get ahold of the property, so they were closing the case with no refund.
I called the property during their business hours to make sure I could get through and then used the chat function again asking Hotels.com to contact the property. Hotels.com got through by phone this time, but the property said to email management. Hotels.com later emailed me that the property didn't approve the refund and closed the case.
