I have to say the hotel is actually a hidden pearl in a very good location in Barcelona but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed right from the start. Before my stay, I tried to reach the hotel by phone for at least 3 days to get information about check-in and every time I was simply pushed away, more than 10 times. That doesn't work at all. I then tried emailing several times, no response. Only after a customer advisor from the booking platform Hotels.com asked, I got an unfriendly answer. Things weren't much better when I arrived, the 2 women at reception thought it would be better to have private conversations with each other than to serve me. It wasn't until a friendly young man came that I was served. When I asked about the early check-in, which had already been clarified by email, only one of the ladies unkindly and secretly told the young man who served me, check-in is at 3 p.m. and he doesn't get any special requests. Everything in Spanish is just stupid if you understand the language. Sad simple, hotel with very high potential is made bad by poor reception staff. The reception is the flagship of every hotel! If there are incompetent people at the reception, a great interior, good location and the rest are nothig worth!!
