I expect more from Marriot brand which is my preferred, always. This is not one of my favs. Akward parking, lobby entrance, room was fine but nithing great, fridge is going out so the compressor made loud squeal/rumble the entire time, the sofa was literally the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on; stiff, cheap pleather, uneven cushions ...ive sat on plastic lawn chairs that are more comfortable. The tv worked but is so outdated that you cant stream video on it or our hdmi was bad either way no one was available to fix it over our weekend stay so we were out of luck 🙃 so bad movies from the 90s it was.
In addition the front desk was hardly manned - we had issue with people screaming in the halls, at the pool for 2 hours - I mean screaming. Fighting, screaming and yelling in surrounding rooms until 2 am and nothing was done about it. No one was attending the desk or answering calls on multiple occassions to even take complaints, the one time I did reach the desk, about getting a new hdmi cable for the tv, I was told if she could find one, she couldnt leave the desk because she was the only one on staff. Commendable I guess, but in normal hours(not graveyard shift) everyone can leave it? Overall just disappointing, especially since its Marriott & came with a Marriott rate. Next time we are in the area we will be looking elsewhere.
