Firstly we were shocked at the £10.00 parking charge that’s not mentioned on the website, you have to share bathrooms with others as they’re out on the corridor, the website does mention breakfast but on arrival the sign has been painted over so it reads as hotel not b&b for the money we paid for a 1 night stay was not worth what we received, a dirty room a major issue with damp to the extent the walls had water stains from the top running down and the wallpaper had just been painted over with white in an attempt to cover up but was done poorly as the curtains even had paint on them, our ceiling light didn’t work neither did the bedside lamp, the kettle provided had so much scale in that it was crumbling off the heating element of the kettle which we couldn’t use if we wanted as the kettle was placed miles away from the 1 socket we had even the teabags provided wasn’t in “new” condition they’d been kept somewhere damp as the wrappers were stained, the bathroom was just as bad, mould around the shower uncleaned glass, shower power button missing flooring was in several separate pieces mirror just sat behind taps I would not recommend a stay here at all, door keys didn’t work properly and just for clarification check in was at 3 we arrived just after so no excuse for the dirtiness, I believe this “hotel” is just a cash cow for the owner/owners who lack in keeping it clean it’s a shame as it’s a big building with so much potential. Bitterly disappointed
