We were allocated a very well maintained and decorated guest room which had an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom was impeccable and supplied with clean towels and toiletries. It was good to see that the shower had no mould or dirt in the corners which is often the case. We found the bed to be rather too small for two large adults and in future will ask for a larger bed. We found the mattress to be harder than we would have liked, but it was nevertheless comfortable. The breakfasts were magnificent. It seemed that nothing was off the menu if requested. Following each of our four breakfasts we set out each day completely satisfied. Parking is obviously an issue in that area as the only parking was on the street. The landlady issued us with a 4 day permit to display on the car. We were fortunate that we were able to find a parking space each evening. However; one can imagine that it not be so simple in the main holiday season. We found the staff to be welcoming and very helpful and would recommend this guest house to any of our friends.
