The rooms were clean, which was great.....but i was charged $100 per room booked up front AFTER i already paid for the rooms on Affirm. I have never heard of that before. 200 dollars out of my account IN CASE of damages and i dont get it back until 2 to 3 business days??? Are you serious? Ive been to multiple Holiday Inn Expresses (one in December in another city, one last July in another state- so i know this isnt corporate policy) and they had only a $5 hold charge to have a card on file at both previous places. This is a disgusting practice, as its right before payday and my sons braces auto payment cant go through on Monday now. I will never go back to this location. Breakfast was good as usual and rooms were clean. But charging people 100 dollars after full payment just in case is a terrible business practice.
