Ajay checked us in with efficiency. He also graciously granted our request for a late check-out the following morning, giving us an extra hour! (Thanks, Ajay!)
The front lobby was decorated for the holidays with quaint charm. Beyond the charm, everything was clean; the reception area, the hallways, the elevator, breakfast area, and the rooms were all very clean and welcoming.
The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The blackout curtains were wonderful! The shower worked fine with lots of hot water and good water pressure; it was slow draining, though, so we mentioned it to Ajay at check-out and we're confident that issue will be tended to ASAP.
Although a few reviews mentioned slow wi-fi, we did not have any trouble with the wi-fi at all.
We went to breakfast at 9am and there was plenty of hot foods with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits-n-gravy available. However, there were no muffins, bagels, or pastries of any type left. Just a lot of empty shelves which should have contained those items. Chuck, the helpful breakfast attendant, said those items had run out already (breakfast started at 7am) and while he did have additional trays of banana nut muffins and other pastries, he couldn't put them out for guest consumption until the next day.
It's necessary to climb steps to get to the tea/coffee/juice area and that would've problematic for me if I was alone as I'm in a wheelchair.
We recommend this as a clean and comfy place to stay in Williamsburg.
