Will never go there, theft budget

We did not stayed, and they refuse to refund, the room stinks and the place donā€™t feel safe, there was nobody around, no manager. We got there , no one was there, we had spoken to someone on the phone, it was a heavy accent speaking, could not understand , we will not come back, we learned our lesson, not to use online ever again. They are a thief , it was clever process. Took advantage of our money. They made a clever theft.

Oh the smell

Upon entering the room smelt musky, a key was left under a mat, very small room and you could tell thing were not taken care of at all.

I received a text message with my room number and the wi-fi password, with the note that the key to my room was under the mat. This was the only interaction I had with anyone who worked there. The place was fairly dated and had a musty smell. The AC unit was old, and I struggled to find a comfortable temperature. The decor was...interesting! A personal favorite touch was the four-eyed Hamburgler figurine that watched me sleep. I stayed here because Bloomington was full, and this was the closest option- next time I'll drive a little farther.

Rooms were clean, but a bit outdated. No staff on duty to ask questions or get ice. Area was easy to get in and out of to visit the city of Nashville.

Very clean, first of all. But check in communication was nonexistent and small maintenance issues. Nicely decorated room, clean! but the shower doo would not close. Th chairs outside the room needs to be replaced. Needs management but does not have. ANYBODY TO CHAT WITH ON SITE!! Self-service Motel!!!

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Then it was an older, yet clean and charming roadside motel with delightful staff. This visit was a completely different experience. We stayed for three nights, and not once did we see a staff member. When we arrived to check in we found the office locked, with no directions on what to do or how to check in. We had to call the hotel to tell them we were in the parking lot to check-inā€¦they then told us there was a key under the door mat that would get us into the room: We came and went from the hotel throughout our three days and not once was the office open, nor was there any evidence of a staff member on property. The room smelled so, so musty it was overpowering. The carpet looked like it hadnā€™t been vacuumed between guests and there were spider webs in the corners of the bathroom, hair in the shower, and soap scum on the sink. The parking lot (including in front of our door) was littered with cigarette butts and garbage. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to stay.

Check in was very strange. When I arrived at the lodge, there was no one there. There was a very faded note on the door with a number to call. In between his heavy accent and the road noise (since I was standing outside) he was difficult to understand. When he found out where I was and my name he told me my room number and said the key was under the mat. The room was nothing fancy but it was adequate. It was quiet even though there were quite a few people there Saturday night. The price was lower than several other places.

Room was dated but very clean and beds were comfortable. There is no in person staff and we had to call and ask how to check in. The representative that answered phone was not very nice and acted aggravated that we called. The check in process is calling to get your room number and then the staff tells you where to find your key. Check out process is similar, no staff to process check out, you leave the key in a designated non-secured location and just leave. We did not care for this process and we didnā€™t like that we had to call to figure out how to check in and out. It was ok for one night and was last minute so glad it was at least clean, quiet and comfortable.

I really like the way he? has set himself up to. kind of run it like an Airbnb for the check in. Very convenient. and fast. Although he needs to. send emails out or text. to people. that have a reservation. with his phone number on it. And a small explanation of how to check in. Other than that, it was great. Place was very clean. and well kept up.

There is no staff on site. You are on your own. If there is a problem, handle it yourself. There are no amenities. No coffee. No vending machines. There is an ice machine but it's locked in the office and you will probably be charged when you break the windows to get in. You are about a mile out of town, so it is a quick trip to grocery, CVS, or convenience store. Since NO ONE is around, I did not feel safe. If there's a fire, drunk and rowdy guests, an enterprising thief breaking into everyone's car...handle it yourself. To be fair, the room was clean. Shower and toilet worked fine. Mini fridge and microwave worked. TV reception was awful. Area was pretty quiet. Bed pillows are FLAT. There was no local information in room. One would think since the guest would have to go into town to eat, it would be to a business advantage to advertise at the motel. And there's lots of shopping in town. But you have to find out for yourself. Bottom line. This is an okay place to sleep and use the bathroom. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. The rest stop on the interstate is a better option.

Room was clean but old. Sheets smelled of bleach. No handicapped accessible rooms, and the toilet in the bathroom was so low to the ground i needed my husband's help to get up (2 knee replacements). Not a terrible stay, but i wouldnt preferentially stay here again.

The room was clean as a whistle! Very dated decor , like grannies spare room . No attendant on duty . Just far enough south of Nashville to be somewhat inconvient. Too far to walk and the road (SR 46) is too busy to bicycle . Iā€™d stay in Nashville next time . Great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

No one at the office when we arrived. Had to call a number to find out where our key was. Had to recall the number because we were told the wrong place. Door was VERY hard to open. Carpet extremely dirty. Bed stained, hard as a rock, very loud and creaky. Curtains falling off the rod- couldnā€™t shut them all the way. No one at office to check out- had to call the number to see howā€¦

We paid for it and ended up not staying there. When we got there the registration desk was closed and a phone number to call. We did and he came ito check us in and gave us the key. I had to stop him from leaving to open the room door because the key didnā€™t work. When we walked in the room although it was clean it had a musty smell that was overwhelming. It triggered an allergic reaction and we had to leave. The attendant was no longer there so we had to find another hotel in town to spend the night. It was not even cheap. Definitely do not recommend!
