Hotel Liliova is a health hazard and will ruin your experience in Prague. If you’ve spent the money to travel to this beautiful city, stay somewhere else.
This hotel is filthy, with an owner who clearly does not care about guests, safety, or basic comfort.
The room was uninhabitable due to a strong sewage gas smell, even on the fifth floor. The heat and towel warmer were on during a warm day, and with no ventilation, the smell filled the entire room. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close, and the fan didn’t work.
We arrived late and had no choice but to stay one night. We woke up feeling sick with headaches and nausea. We immediately asked to change rooms, but were told none were available, despite the hotel appearing pretty empty.
We had to find another hotel. The owner ignored all communication from Hotels.com, making it clear they only care about taking your money.
We paid for breakfast during the Hotels.com booking, which the front desk denied, then admitted was “bad” anyway. The next morning, electricity on the ground floor was out, so breakfast wasn’t even been served.
The room did not match the listing photos. It was dirty, with grime, dust, and hair on the bed. The showerhead would not stay mounted. The carpet was stained and the bedding was thin and worn.
Avoid this place!!! It will make you sick and ruin your trip.
