We had a reservation through Expedia. We arrived at this hotel to be told by the desk staff, that we did not have a reservation. I pulled up the confirmation in my ohone and she claimed it was not a reservation with this hotel, even though it was clearly this hotel's name and address. I asked to speal to the manager and she refused and said she could not call one. I called Expedia and they called her. I was standing right there when she verified with Expedia that she had an email with my name and information and that it stated the room was paid fornthrough expedia for this hotel. She refused to honor the reservation and did not care to try to help. I was on the phone with Expedia and they could not get her to honor the reservation. She refused to do anything. WORST hosputality and cuatomer service. Expedia helped locate another hotel, which I had to travel nearly half an hour to get to after nearly two hours on the phone. We try to give the small hotels a chance, but thia hassle was not worth it. Clearly Expedia sent the information regarding the reaervation and thia girl could not be bithered to do her job. Perhaps if she were at the desk working onstwad of in the back where you have to call for her when you arrive, then maybe she would be doing her job. And someone should train her on hospitality, how to make reservations, and how to handle Expedia bookings. Maybe some empathy training too. She was rude and uncaring.
