The decor was beautiful and peaceful, the breakfast excellent, loved the porch for reading (and the library), and the Innkeepers were so friendly and attentive. Next time I plan to be in the Hampton area, I will stay again.

Wonderful B&B! The owners are beyond hospitable and the breakfast is out of this world. The location itself is central to many restaurants and shops, a quick walk or lyft will get you anywhere you need to be. The B&B itself has been beautifully restored and maintained. Highly recommend!

The Magnolia is an experience, room was clean and beautifully decorated. The home is just fantastic, the architecture is incredible but what makes it special are the innkeepers, informative, kind, generous and welcoming. The breakfast is beyond what was expected and we looked forward to the food, service and conversation. We will be back for sure

This place is a wonderful Bed&Breakfast : the owners are the kindest and most patient people, the house is gorgeous, the themed bedrooms are very comfortable: I had the “Writer’s Retreat” one and absolutely loved it! The bathroom and the bedroom were very clean and the morning breakfast was absolutely delicious! This is definitely a place that I will come back to. It was lovely meeting the other guests and exchanging with them during breakfast. I loved it all ! One negative point : My stay was way too short. I did manage to add one night (so I stayed from Friday through Wednesday), but I wish I could have stayed longer.

The most lovely hosts i ever met.

Joyce and Landford are the most gracious and nice hosts i ever met. A pleasure to talk to them, and how servicial they are in a nice human way, not in a business manner. Brakefast is delicious, the house, old furniture and equisite taste, room and bathroom impecable like being in Virginia at the end of the 19th century or early twenty. I was sorry to leave!!!

Magnolia Inn-worth a visit

We had a chance to stay at the Magnolia Inn when they had a last minute cancellation. The owners were great! Very welcoming and helpful when asked about events and dinner spots within walking distance. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast as part of our stay. One of the owners, Joyce, asked if we had any food preferences upon arrival to make sure she prepared items we'd enjoy. I'd definitely plan a return trip to the Magnolia Inn.

Cute house. Innkeepers are great and the house has charm. The bed was uncomfortable and very creaky.... Also, there is no on site parking lot/space. You are required to park in the neighborhood block, which is their "free parking". The location is not in a great neighborhood and we felt very uncomfortable leaving our cars parked there.

What I loved about Magnolia House, was the warm and friendly proprietors. The Inn was also warm, it reminded me of a stay at my grandma house. I didn’t want to leave. I definitely will be going back.

My stay at the Magnolia House Inn & The Wedding Chapel was exceptional! The customer service and personal attention provided was class "A". This was me and my husband first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and they truly exceeded our expectations. The breakfast provided every morning was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back to revisit!
