Great location but not worth the price!
The property does not reflect the styled photos shown online. Several listed amenities were missing, including laundry facilities. Overall, the hotel is in need of proper maintenance and care.
The pool area is in poor condition, with broken mosaic tiles, and the pool was closed during our last four days. Water quality was inconsistent, sometimes appearing brown. During our stay, sewage drainage work was carried out without prior notice, and the smell spread throughout the building. There was also mold in the bathroom, and the WiFi did not work.
Basic toiletries such as toilet paper, soap, and shampoo were not provided. Towels were worn and stained. The double bed was comfortable, but the second bed hard and uncomfortable. The balcony could not be enjoyed due to heavy traffic noise and pollution from the busy street outside.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly. There is a grocery store and bus stop nearby, and the beach just outside is lovely with calm water. Snorkeling further out is excellent. However, shaded areas are limited, so it’s best to arrive early. A small number of sun loungers are available for rent (1,500 MUR per day), while many are reserved for nearby resorts. There is usually space directly on the sand, but be prepared for strong sun and heat.
