This was by far the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. I got this room the night of Jan 4th as it was a heavy storm that night in St. Johns and I work at the airport so for safety reasons stayed there. At 1130pm the individual in the room above returned to their room. For the 30-35m that they were still awake the noise from them just walking around was insane. Very poorly sound insulated. It was enough to wake me up and keep me awake. I finally got back to sleep and was awoke again at 2am by the fire alarm going off in my room going beep beep beep low battery over and over and over. I had to work at 6am so at this point I just checked out as it was apparent I was going to get no sleep here. I told the story to the worker at the front desk and he said he couldn't do anything for me other then me a different room. Considering the quality of build and maintenance I had already experienced I passed. He told me a manager would contact me and I've yet to hear from them. If you looking for something close to the airport I suggest trying the Holiday Inn or an Airbnb.
Side note I've gotten food from their restuarant from time to time with work, sevice and food are average at best for the price they charge. You can get WAT better food for an equivalent price next door at The Rock.
