Nice facility, rooms, furnishing, decor, great location & close to West I 10 energy corridor in Houston. I know the area. That’s the good news.
Here’s the not so good news:
1. $225 per day;
2. The rooms are noisy facing south towards I 10. Traffic noises all night long. Also guest congregate outside talking until midnight;
3. The breakfast was a joke, so don’t even bother. There’s an IHOP across the freeway. Old hard boiled eggs, weak nasty coffee, unrecognizable fried eggs & ? potatoes, dirty serving area, the attendant unplugged the toaster oven around 9 am, and boxes/equipment/clutter etc was stacked behind the serving area and in full view of the public. Furthermore, the dining room area was practically empty. I guess the guests knew better. The breakfast attendant was also non responsive and unfriendly.
4. I spk to the manager about the above. +/- response.
We won’t be returning to this hotel. The Guest Quarters, which is 1 mile away is a better choice and also a Hilton.
