We had a great stay and would happily return. The hotel has plenty of pool lounging options, especially if you're staying in Altitude where you also get access to the infinity pool. Towels do go on loungers early, but that’s just part of the routine. The beach is right there as well if you prefer that.
The staff were really friendly throughout. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and welcoming, which made a big difference to the overall experience. Tip-wise, it’s worth bringing plenty of 20 peso notes (roughly $1/£1) for drinks around the complex. The drinks themselves were good, we never felt the need to pay extra for premium options.
The travel desk sorted trips to Chichen Itza and Isla Mujeres with bus pick up on site.
The restaurants were understandably busy at peak times (you can book), but they were always well managed and worth the wait. The food quality was high, with plenty of variety, and we didn’t have a disappointing meal.
A special mention goes to Luis in the Grill and Zacarias in Le Delice, who both provided exceptional service and were really friendly.
The location is another big plus. It’s well situated with a short walk to local bars, shops and a supermarket. We always felt safe both in and around the hotel. If you’re a runner, head toward Coco Bongo, there’s a walkway that takes you all the way down the strip.
Overall, great stay in a great location.
