There's a reason this hotel is so cheap! The staff were great but a lot of work is needed to bring it up to a decent standard.

This is a well reasonably maintained property and excellent value for money. Bedroom and bed were comfortable with decent sized enough suite room with a shower. Check in was good and actually checked in an hour early.

Close to the beach nice area,the room was clean ,staff were friendly, comfy bed heater in room .hotel needs updating, it was alright for one night at the price we paid .

The hotel was dirty and dated. The room was hot, the curtains wouldn’t block out the light. We had to sleep with all windows open. Noisy seagulls. I couldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The location for the town is good though.

Absolutely filthy, stinking grot box. Nothing was clean or worked, staff were absolutely useless. Should be shut down it’s that bad. I wouldn’t let a dog stay there.

Location is great, but the hotel is very dated with worn carpets and tatty wood chip decor. No towels on arrival, only one hook to hang towels to dry. Tragic wall art. Fridge and kettle in room was good though and nice to be able to open window. All in all, acceptable but a bit depressing. It could be a lot better if they put in a bit of effort and spent a bit of money.

The actual hotel looked nothing like the online photos. It looked so unsafe & decrepid, after checking the rooms, there's no way we could being our kids in the hotel to stay. It really tainted our well end - a birthday gift to my husband.

This is a budget hotel which is reflected in the price. Excellent location on the sea front with free parking over night. It was basic as expected but clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Towels and toileties were provided. We stayed for one night and would stay again for an over night or weekend break.

We stayed here for one night on a last minute booking. 3 rooms and none of us actually slept in the beds, preferred to sleep on them. My room had 2 windows with black out blinds, one blind didn’t work at all and stayed stay. It wouldn’t have made any difference as the windows behind were totally blown and you couldn’t see out of them! In the bathroom, there was an electrical junction box, the cover was hanging off. I suggest, if you decide to stay here, make sure it’s the very last resort.

Slow service. The staff were not nice. Asked for shampoo but did not get any, the boy didn't understand or pretended not to understand maybe because the didn't have any. I got a hair dryer that didn't work. There were no cups for coffee. It was a surprise that the kettle worked. The bed was poorly made, it looked terrible. There were other hotels with same price in the area, I picked the wrong one.

Very very noisy. We were on the ground floor. The walls are paper thin. Noise from a games room was very loud until about 3am. Noise from the flat below ground was very loud until after 3am. The decor was quite shabby and our room had a socket that was dangerously loose. One great thing is that the reception staff can sell you a £5 all day parking permit for the road just outside the hotel which was great value.

There was nothing I liked. It was rundown & in need of refurbishment. My bathroom was dirty and the carpets had stains all over them. The lift didn’t work & I was on the third floor. I would never recommend it & it spoilt my stay in Eastbourne.

It's ok if you just want a bed, toilet, and shower for one night at a low price, and care not so much about decor, comfort, or facilities. The place needs some investment in just about all aspects, carpets, rooms, cleaning, facilities. The good: bed and bathroom were ok or lets say adequate, the location is fairly central 2 minutes walk from seafront and 5 to town centre, the price is low, there is a kettle in the room and some tea/coffee condiments, there is wifi and a TV in the room. The bad: decor needs a major refresh throughout, it's all quite grubby, badly stained carpets, obvious bodge or make-do repairs in the bathroom, no fan in the airless room during a heatwave and the UHT milk condiments were 'off'. If you're on a low budget and need a bed for 1 night with small usable ensuite bathroom and tolerant of basic standards this is for you, otherwise try a premier or travel lodge or B&B.
