6/10 - Boa

The room smelt damp with a patch of mould on ceiling, the door to the Juliet balcony didn’t open so we could not get any fresh air into the room and the hotel part of the business needed some tlc, the food was good and the dining area was nice and homely. The staff were all very nice, helpful and friendly, nice area shame about our room.

This was our 2nd visit to the Manor Inn. However this time we booked the Standard Double due to availability and unfortunately found it extremely small in all respects and built into the roof accessed by fairly steep stairs. Wouldn't therefore recommend this room best to book the Premier Double if available. The staff in the bar & restaurant though were very good and helpful and the evening meal was excellent.

We were met by very helpful and friendly staff and had a very sweet room on the top floor. The food for both dinner and then breakfast the following morning was excellent. It was an overnight stay for work and we will be coming back in the future.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Plenty of seating in the common areas and a beautiful view from the porch. Staff were very accommodating and friendly—had a reservation mix-up on our end and they were very helpful in sorting it out

Booked this hotel on the same day as our original plans got cancelled ,not sure if thats why the price was so low.I emailed hotel ahead and asked if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade ( it was actually our wedding anniversary) Had a lovely email back within the hour wishing us a happy Anniversary and upgrading us, which we were thrilled with. Room was lovely ,slightly cold but we switched the portable fan on and were soon lovely and warm. There was a loud humming noise throughout the night which was slightly annoying ( no idea what it was)Bed super comfy and pillows & quilt were of very high standard.Tea & coffee facilities & toiletries The pub itself closes early on a Sunday night which we wasn't aware of untill we received an email, would of loved to have tried the food but hey ho Staff were lovely on the evening, very helpful and friendly and so was the young lady at breakfast.Included in our price was breakfast also which was delicious. All in all our wedding anniversary turned out very nice in the end .Would highly recommend this hotel & cant wait to return and enjoy an evening meal this time Thankyou Amanda & Dave

Great stopover on the way to Newquay. It’s rated a 5 star but nearer to 4 as there’s scuffs and stains on the wall. Window was kept closed via a screws. Breakfast was excellent. Polite staff.

Lovely room and bathroom. Sadly the extreme heat and lack of air con was only the real downside to it. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

Property is described as “The Manor” but it’s a pub called the Manor Arms, very misleading. Run down in need of a revamp and good clean. Shower hanging off the wall, extractor fan hanging off the ceiling. Shower cubicle and wall was dirty. Wouldn’t stay again for the price.

This was my second time staying at this dog-friendly hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel originally had two EV charging points, but unfortunately one of them was out of service during my stay.
