The hotel is poorly sign posted and difficult to find. The employee was wearing a sunslower mask, hardly professional, I had to verify breakfast was included and where it was served, given that I was told nothing, no luggage assistance and I had to ask about luggage. The bedroom is of a good size, but the rocking chair seems ill fitting and the bedroom could easily fit a king size bed and makes do with a double. I went to the restaurant for dinner with my 3 year old, the restaurant does not offer a children's menu. I asked if pasta could be made for her, the restaurant did not have pasta at all. I asked for the masked potatoe to be served without capers. I was told it was bought in prepared that way. This conversation continued as so, until I was told the kitchen was backed up, and in essence everything was 'bought in' and nothing could be accommodated. Then at check out, I got the famous "nothing to settle", the receptionist did not even ask "how was the stay". Basic basic basic. £300. Stay at the Marriott or the Hilton people.
