Awful staff.
Receptionist / manager showed me to my room and noticed there were no towels. Promised to put some in the rom whilst I was at work, didnāt.
Reception unmanned both late evening and in the morning, so no one to chase re the towels.
But, I could have lived with that.
Left my keys at the hotel and took theirs in error. The manager phoned me to say they had my keys on the 21st July and would return them. They asked me in turn to return their keys, which I did, that day via a courier service.
Itās now nearly three weeks since my stay. Iāve emailed, texted and phoned seven times. The hotel has only responded to one phone call and that was to say that they needed to check where the keys where with staff and would phone back with confirmation the next day. That was nearly a week ago. No phone call back and everytime I phone, the hotel pick up and hang up without talking to me.
Hotels.com have now also been chasing the hotel themselves for three days now. Again, they have been told that someone would phone them back, so far, no one has.
After talking with Hotels.com last night, they agreed that the customer service was shocking, refunded my full booking fee, paid compensation and suggested I leave this review.
5 stars for hotels.com customer service, 0 stars for the manager of the hotel.
