Once again i had a lovely time at the New Bath Hotel. The staff are most welcoming and nothing is too much for them. The food was amazing and came to my table hot and perfect. The only downside is that there is no longer any bottled water in the rooms which i do miss and must remember to get some before i get to the hotel. I also have seen quite a few dogs at the hotel which i have no problem with.

Nice and easy to find, greeted by friendly helpful staff, our room was ok just needs painting lots of marks around the walls, bathroom was clean. Downstairs around the bar was nice, served a good pint of Guinness. We booked a treatment in the spa section of the hotel along with afternoon tea, very good price for what you get, wouldnt say its a spa you would be pleased to take a bunch of you to relax, hottub was ok, sauna and steam room are past their best, the one bonus is, if your brave you can take advantage of a swim in the famous matlock lido, that was an amazing experience , bloody cold but glad we had a go. I would probably stay there again as its in a great location as a base if you want to visit the peaks.

Hotel building and facilities dirty. Pool was 'freezing' even though described as a thermal one - algae growing on the bottom, giving a lovely green colour. Doors broken, carpets dirty, spa charges £10pp for a garden hot tub. Bedding dirty and ripped with hairs stuck inside. Was given a duvet cover to put on myself. Mouldy bathroom and door. No food available outside of the hours of 5-8pm.

A mixed stay of terrible room and lovely staff. The hotel needs refurbishment but I don’t forgive uncleanliness and the sweaty smell an unclean carpet on arrival meant I requested a room change which was denied due to capacity that I later found out was a ie which was a huge disappointment. If I can still book online on various websites that means your hotel does have accommodation available and thy could have changed my room! Not good at all. However the staff are lovely and smiley and went out of their way to be nice to me for my whole stay which o really appreciated. I wish the management looked at the cleaning and perhaps updating the carpets it would make a huge difference. Some hairdryers in the room would also be welcome.

No room cleaning during stay. Hotel is tired and needs investment. Outside there are abandoned buildings with mattresses piling up on on full view. Breakfast is very ordinary not even a coffee machine. Surprised this is allowed to carry the Radisson badge, seems like it needs new management

The room felt dated and not clean. Beds are small and uncomfortable. The family rooms are in a really dated 'add on' to the main hotel. The walls are paper thin so we could hear the TV from neighbouring rooms. It would be nice if the pool had a window of time where the kids could use it especially as the 'family room' looks directly at it. I'm sure I read somewhere that was the case before booking, otherwise I wouldn't have booked. Why have any family rooms at all? Breakfast was basic.

Check in and staff were excellent. Check out, whilst very pleasant, I wasn’t even asked about my stay. In Room 14, there was only one set of towels provided despite there being two of us staying, so we had to request more. The duvet cover was torn at the corner, meaning the duvet was coming out, and the bedding had noticeable spotted stains. There was also a large gap under the door which let a significant amount of light in from the corridor, making the room very bright at night and resulting in an extremely poor night’s sleep. The corridors leading to the room felt very tired and in need of maintenance, with paint peeling from doors and walls. Even the fire hose, which was so high up you probably couldn’t use it if you needed to anyway, was covered in thick dust, which didn’t give a great impression. The shower was another let-down. The water pressure was extremely weak, making it difficult to rinse off properly. The shower head was positioned very low (or the bath unusually high), meaning I had to crouch to stand underneath it. The only positive here was the provision of Dove toiletries, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was average at best. The hash browns were soggy, seemingly steamed rather than crisp due to the container they were kept in. Overall, at £116 per night, this stay was extremely disappointing and certainly not worth the money.

Staff extremely attentive. Mattress so bad first night we had to change rooms. Shower didn’t work. Hot water was so hot we had to run the bath and let it cool down! No availability at the spa although didn’t book as we arrived. Breakfast ok. Other room we had booked was tiny. It needs a Radisson overhaul desperately and cobwebs / dusting throughout needs to be better.

Breakfast was ordinary - one central breakfast area but two breakfast rooms - very busy coming and going with tea, juice, cereal etc - a suggestion would be that they supply trays ? Coffee/Tea was help yourself - not served at the table - that didn’t help matters

Paid extra for a Superior Room, well if that was Superior then I wouldn’t want to see the others. Carpet was badly stained. The view out of the window was terrible. Spoke to receptionist who said that it was an old hotel so it is what it is. For £198 for one night it was vastly overpriced.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, however the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The mattress needs to be softer and the pillows were rock solid. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely place.

The service and staff were polite and very helpful but I like a bit of luxury when I stay away and this was far from it, I wish I’d booked like a travel lodge for half the price. The bed was very small and myself, partner and other guests had a bad back in the morning. The shower was terrible, was slow when warm and my partner couldn’t even fully stand under it. The hotel has a lot of character, so not a terrible stay. Staff go out their way to help you but food is also not of a 3/4 star standard. If you can get a good deal and not £160 like I paid for a night, may be worth the stay…just get ready to do some stretches in the morning if you’re over 30 😅

Two generous starts. Our family room was very tiny. And it was not in the main hotel building that you see when you arrive. It was further around the block cheap looking add-on dated building. Only 2 beds and space to walk around the. For 4 people is is bad deal, considering price and location. Water in toiletries.
