Serious Concerns Regarding Cleanliness, Safety, and Customer Service
Dear Sonesta Management,
I recently stayed at your property and was very disappointed with the overall experience. My room had a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke and animals. The bathroom had visible mold and hair in the tub, the carpet was torn, and the appliances were outdated. Additionally, the door latch was broken, which presented a safety concern.
When I reported these issues, the guest attendant responded rudely and appeared visibly irritated. Her attitude was so unprofessional that even another guest noticed and asked if she was okay. When I raised my concerns with the general manager, they were dismissed as “fluff,” which I found disrespectful and unhelpful.
The surrounding area also felt unsafe, with questionable activity near the building. The elevator doors close with excessive force, which adds to the sense of poor maintenance and safety risk.
I’m sharing this feedback not to criticize, but to urge improvement. Guests should feel safe, respected, and comfortable during their stay. I hope management will take these concerns seriously and address the cleanliness, safety, and customer service issues promptly
