Fully deserved the five star rating. Location and setting are beautiful, the building itself is a lovely, traditional Inn. Our room was in a separate cottage close by and was large and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant, friendly and exceptionally professional. They were all of a high standard but a particular shout-out for Samantha, who was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The food - both breakfast and dinner - was quite simply sensational. We had a lovely time and will definitely visit again

Lovely room very clean. No toilet paper. Fridge in wardrobe - no indication of this near drink station. Roll top bath with shower attachment in bedroom not suitable for me as difficult to get in and out of it. Staff very helpful. Breakfast delicious. Dog friendly

My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb.

Hotel is a nice building (set of buildings) in a gorgeous, quiet village (other than the hotel / bar). Our room was over the bar and whilst there was some noise, it wasn’t too loud. The bedrooms are good rather than stunning and have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, nice biscuits and fresh milk (hooray). Our room had a shower but no bath. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and professional. We were happy with the stay, but left feeling it was a bit expensive for what it was.

Beeley is a lovely inn in a picturesque village. Great location for Chatsworth and beyond. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and had all the amenities needed and more. Breakfast was very good.

Beautiful first stay in the Peak District

It was the first time me and my friend had been to the Peak District and I'm so pleased we decided to stay here. It was beautiful, the rooms were decorated lovely, the bathroom with the hot towel rack was great and the view from our window was quaint. Have told friends and family about it and will definitely be staying again!

Really enjoyable stay & Lovely area to explore.

It was great. Staff wonderful, food great communications excellent, only slight detraction was the room was a tiny bit tired and in the cottage across the road with a bit of a sticky window. However in general terms we live the whole experience and I can’t praise the staff enough. They were brilliant

Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.

Take yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat.

Overall very good. Lovely place, great parking facilities, clean and comfortable room, lovely pub. Food was delicious but the menu lacked ambition. No much choice so could do better with this. The breakfast however was EPIC. BEST FULL ENGLISH IVE EVER HAD!! As for value for money! Overall it’s not worth it. Belley Inn needs to take a serious look at what it charges per room, not necessarily for the food and wine, but the accommodation is far too expensive and not worth the money. There are dozens of other places close by offering better value for money.

Stay at Devonshire Arms Beekey

Excellent stay. Staff excellent apart from one. Our room was above the bar and there was some noise from the bar but it stopped at 10pm so not really a problem. Room excellent, bathroom and toiletries excellent! Breakfast very good apart from the bacon served was streaky bacon. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs excellent. I was charged £180 by Hotels.com but the hotel bill was actually £153.

It was unfortunate that we were there after the floods in October. Disappointed to have dinner in the damp feeling bar when the lovely dining room was empty . Why ? Staff were lovely , efficient and a good and reasonable wine list . Great breakfast.
