Where do I even begin?
My fiancé and I arrived at the hotel only to realise we had accidentally booked a twin room instead of a double. That wasn’t a major issue for us, but when we entered the room, we discovered that one of the beds was broken.
I went to reception and politely asked for a different room. I was told this was impossible because there were supposedly no rooms available. I then requested a full refund so we could stay elsewhere, which I felt was a reasonable solution considering the condition of the room. Instead, I was told that our only options were to either stay in the room with the broken bed or leave and “fight for a refund.” To make matters worse, they claimed no manager was available.
After around 30 minutes of arguing, they suddenly managed to find us another room — despite previously insisting there were none available.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. The bathroom in the new room did not flush properly, which was both inconvenient and unhygienic. After returning from dinner that evening, we then found two large cockroaches running around the room, which I had to deal with myself. The next morning, there was yet another cockroach in the room. That was the final straw.
We checked out early and moved to another hotel, which was a far better experience.
Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing due to the poor room conditions, lack of customer service, hygiene issues, and misleading information from staff. Not Recommended.
