Fantastic stay for families - well set up, attentive staff, incredible buffet breakfast and facilities for kids with kids club, pools and slides. Resort prices for food but all delicious and plenty of happy hour/specials to take advantage of. Chocolate hour was an insane full buffet with cakes, chocolate fountain, popcorn, fruit, candy floss and more. Our daughter had her birthday while we were here and the staff set up the most amazing room decoration and cake for her, all complimentary.
Samasta - next door has a few shops and eateries, Gaya ice cream is soooo good and we had our nails done for a good price (250k for gels). There is a free/donation Barong dance twice each evening worth watching and they got our kids up to dance with them.
Nearby - There is a walkway to get to the beach and although the sunset is nice, the beach itself is full of rubbish and dogs and we cut our feet even with sandals. Very local outside of the hotel and too busy to take kids walking on the roads but easy to fetch a car.
Overall Movenpick is a great place to stay if you plan on hanging out at a resort for a few days and just perfect for families with kids.
