Make sure your reservation has been actually booked by hotels.com and ensure the price that’s quoted is the actual price that you’ll pay at the front desk First they said I had no reservation on file even after showing them the confirmation number and itinerary number and also showed them where it was deducted from my card clerk wanted to swipe my card again and it was double charging the reservation then to try to contact hotels.com was an even bigger challenge I got fed up went back to the property talked to the clerk explained to them what issue I was having and after reviewing my charged card for the amount she decided to let me stay in good faith? By this time I was exhausted I just threw my hands in the air and said give me whatever I’ve always used Hotels. Com to book my stays but after this one I’ll just pay at the desk to avoid future surprises and inconveniences
