I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this hotel.
Upon my late-night arrival, I was left waiting in the dark for someone to provide a key, despite the "OPEN" sign being illuminated. I later discovered a notice instructing guests to pick up keys from a different building. It appears the reception area is merely decorative and serves only to keep the "OPEN" sign lit.
Furthermore, I was disappointed to find no coffee, drinking water, or boiled water available for guests. The rooms lacked essential amenities such as teapots, coffee makers, and closets with hangers. Additionally, the comforter in my room appeared to be over 20 years old. ECO Friendly? People were smoking openly on the parking lot and no recycle bins nor Bear Tough Trash Can were avaiable.
I hope Tahoe Sands will consider these issues and take steps to improve the guest experience.
