The City Hotel is a 3-star property at best. It feels a bit like an apart-hotel, but without a kitchen, and the room doors open directly to the outside. The best and most notable thing about this place is, without a doubt, the cleanliness, which was excellent. However, there are several major logistical issues to keep in mind if you plan to stay here:
Transit hotel only: This is strictly a place to crash for a night and move on, not for an extended stay.
Limited front desk hours: The reception closes at 10:00 PM. If you arrive after hours, things get complicated.
Terrible nighttime signage: The directions to find your room are not clear at all. In the dark, finding your way around the property is almost impossible.
Suggestion for the hotel: They should really provide a clear map or send a short video to late-arriving guests showing exactly how to access each room.
In short: It does the job for one night thanks to how clean it is, but the nighttime arrival process is highly frustrating.
