The room was definitely stuck in a time warp, but it was spotless and super comfyālike your grandmaās house if she were a neat freak with a passion for fluffy pillows. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and while thereās no elevator (cue the unexpected leg workout), it was totally worth it just to sit on the balcony, watch dolphins flipping around like they were on break from SeaWorld, and enjoy a front-row seat to a dramatic thunderstorm. Bonus entertainment: watching beachgoers sprint for their lives like it was a scene from Baywatch: Thunderstorm Edition. Pure comedy gold.
The pool was just the right size for a refreshing dip after pretending we were in a fitness montage during our long beach walk.
The staff? Genuinely delightful. Like āmakes-you-want-to-hug-a-strangerā kind of nice.
The only drawback was the parking situation. The few spots connected to the hotel were tighter than a pair of jeans after vacation snacks, and pretty limited. They do offer additional parking in two other nearby lots, but theyāre across the streetāand if you're bringing everything you own for a week-long stay, expect a mini workout just getting to your room.
Still, I'd stay here again in a heartbeatāand I've already told my friends they need to check it out.
